“Do the Things You Fear The Most”
The Quality of Your Life Is Determined By the Quality of Your Thoughts
How to read a Book to Get The most out of It?
One of the reasons why people frown when they read books is that reading books is a very boring job in our work because we have assumed that just reading a book will tell you something, nothing more. Okay, I agree. So let’s look at a new method from which one can read books and do one’s own development.
Step 01: First make a list of a book of the month. This means you will make a list of what books you will read this month. I assume you are starting from the very beginning so you start with 3 books in the first month.
Step 02: Now take the first book out of 3 books. Take a look at the chapters and make a mind map of when you will finish. Remember you have 10 days, so divide the chapters accordingly.
Step 03: The day you end the chapter. On that day, you will write a review of that chapter in your notepad. Write down the pros and cons according to the chapter. There is nothing that you like about all the writings of the author, some points you may not like or you may disagree with. Write down your points just by pointing out the points you disagree with.
Step 04: In this way, you will finish all the chapters on the 7th day. Now you look at that diary and you will see a great summary of the whole book in your hand. Now read that diary again on the 9th day. On the 10th day, write a summary of the book and share it on social media or if you have your own blog, publish it there or publish it in Medium.
You don’t just have to publish, now you have to promote it so that people can read the article and come to a discussion with you. This will allow you to learn more new things.
